Tube from turbo to intake with boost sensor installed (rubber couplers were only temps for mock ups, replaced with permanent silicone couplers and t-clamps )

All done with the new turbo I forgot to mention that I had to cut off the the waste gate actuator bracket and fab up my own too. I used a glow shift 3 in 1 diesel gauge for EGT, Boost (yet to hook up the spare temp sensor to anything). My EGTs run between 700 - 900 @ 70mph standard fueling (not adjusted out) in 5th gear (roughly 80 air temp) and up to 1k with my kill cable in toward what was 'an over fuel position' when it was N/A and my foot in it for passing. I've been looking at adding a top mount inter cooler or liquid to air interchanged (?) as it may perform better off highway / lower speeds under the hood. Im also following haffi's lead and working on a fiberglass snorkel very inspired after seeing his work here (https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/making-a-fiberglass-snorkel.483369/). Ill see if I can link a video of it so you guys can hear it I know there we a few bj60 turbo vids (and Tor's bj74) that helped motivate me plus my wife and her lead foot. This is probably one of the most beneficial daily driving mods. Really helps the h55f to come alive and be more usable, no more rowing from 4 to 5th and sweating hills, now if we can get some 4.11's people will be flipping me off for other reasons than being slow and in their way!

Does your pipe pass over the frame in front of the spring hanger? ( post 159) I went over behind the hanger and i've never liked it.

Thats my now disassembled '84 a few years ago when I did a junk yard turbo install. Reading your post reminded me what an amazing difference a few Lbs for pressure makes. See in this photo how it crossed under the frame--When I put it back together I'll cross over.

It's truly with a heavy heart that I have to say we're going to be selling our BJ60 :( Unfortunately bills and other such circumstances have led to this, so we're getting a few finishing touches together and then I'll be posting it to craigslist. In the meantime if anyone is interested send me a message and I'll go over anything that didn't make it in this thread. One big one that isn't on here is the roof rack we got last fall, it's pretty beefy and would be perfect for a rooftop tent!

Such a bummer!

We still haven't sold the bj60. The wife and I love it too much but we do extra parts we need to sell now that our build is finished. The parts will be on classified in a little while including: All 4 doors (Glass and Hardware) Front fenders, Hood, Tailgate (fairly rusty) lift gate, set of seats front and rear, pretty much a whole other car with the exception of few thing here and there (We don't have the original 60 donor body anymore) The bj60 may now be modified for rally car recovery, I know a chaser bj60 its definitely going to change some things (as funds are available)!!

kicking around the idea of getting a possible group buy post and have a few of these 3b A/C brackets laser cut from the plans on this site:

www.serie4.fr/fichiers/meca/support de clim bj/support clim.htm

anybody have any thought on it or experience with these plans?
looking for an AC compressor mount for a 14B (should be same as 3b). What did you wind up doing? Do you still have the CAD file?
