Shipping costs are included in the $240. The little things are heavy, I use a USPS flat rate box or it would cost another $25 for shipping.

Are these off of 4wd trucks and do they need to be overhauled? Thinking about doing FJ40 power steering conversion with JT Outfitters power steering kit. Any advice would be great.

This is the correct box for the application.

I would recommend a seal replacement as a minimum .

There are several different vendors that offer parts to accomplish this task. I personally have used orangefj45 (Georg is a vendor on Ih8mud ) I have found his prices to be fair and his knowledge on FJ40's to be indispensable. He also has a great "Service after the Sale" ethic second to none.

So are these units only for power steering conversion? I currently have a RHD hj47 with manual steering. It desperately needs an overhaul but considering power steering.
Does orangefj45 have man st rebuild kits?

These units will work with LHD FJ40's. Since the pitman spline is the same, and with the box mounted on a new pedestal, everything remains basically the same. Without the need of major modifications.

As for a RHD I can only assume the box output shaft is opposite.

I do not know if currently stocks a gasket kit. I would assume L&R kits would interchange. But you can ask him, just look for Orangefj45 on Ih8mud or contact him at -

Kevos, do you have the return line fitting? I have three from different sources and they are all too big. I've heard that the mini truck boxes had a small and large return fitting depending on the year.
