MY GOD someone needs to buy this so I don't!
You could never build this thing with this level of workmanship for nearly this $$
Jeez, even the air elocker conversion is a work of art!
I have witnessed this rig both crawl and blow down the freeway... it is a reliable, capable, well built machine
4 outta 5 voices in my head say BUY THIS THING!

I have had a few questions about the shifters for the tcase and toyboxView attachment 1429880
Right front lever is 2wd/4wd, right rear lever is the Orion 4:1 and the left rear is the 4.7 toy box. Both rear levers have the same basic throw and are in low range when forward.
In this picture tranny is in nuetral, transfer case is in 2 wheeldrive and both boxes are in high range.

It will cruise at 60-65, cabable of making 75-80 for short stretches although that would be asking for trouble. IIRC the sweet spot for an OM617 is about 2800rpms with a max of 5000rpm.
65mph calculates out to 2600rpm and operating between a calculate 1800-3500rpms seems to be were it is happiest. I say calculated because it does not have a tach.

Check out this screen shot from Grimmjeeper's website of the. calculate values based on rpms. His site is the best I have found for gearing and crawl ratios. He has 100's of transmission in the database and an option to choose your own numbers.

The site can be found at this link, hope he doesn't mind.

For those of you that are interested in the crawl ratios, here is a screen shot of them. My favorite gear is 3rd with both boxes in low but I use 1st and 2nd whenever it gets real technical.

That truck needs a good home. Awesome!

If I didn't just waist 11,000 on a rig no where near as capable as this rig, I would already have a shipper picking this awesome cruiser up. Impulse buys suck.

Easter bump.

I've been daily driving her lately and taking care of some small issues that I have ignored in the past. She drives better now than she has in all the time I've owned her.

I can't believe this hasn't sold.

If I weren't on Cruiser probation I'd be calling...but I like remaining married.
