Value is always subjective for these rigs. I paid too much for mine because it spoke to me. Looking at the rust and rust bubbles in this rig, it doesn’t strike me as a $29k truck. I was thinking maybe 20k until I saw the engine shots. It does not look well maintained. $15K may be generous. You’ll end up putting way more $$$ into it to fix rust and mechanicals. I’m sure you’ll get lots of opinions here, but I’d suggest you walk away from this one and keep looking. Good luck with the search, it’s part of the fun.
Great pics OP. No way this rig is even remotely close in value to their asking price. The list is long with all the things that jump out to me right away. If you want it offer $12K which we know they won't take but that's all I would offer IMO. If you have $30K to spend I would pass on this and keep looking.
Yeah, that's a 10 grand 40 at best in my eyes. Jeez maybe I am out of touch but if that's a $30,000 rig I am blown away, but I am saying that same thing every time I look on CL.

I see $10k maybe and that's if you're looking for a full frame off project. Even then that might be too much.
Buy the house, pass on the 40.
