I am going to be listing my 1977 FJ40 soon. I just got divorced and need to free up some funds. Breaks my heart. I plan on replacing aftermarket wheels with factory wheels. I will update post when the work is complete. Truck is in fantastic shape. I have all original parts that have been deleted. (emissions, A/C etc)

I had to re-read this thread. I missed the drama. MUD Members are a passionate bunch. I think a few folks would have liked to have an opportunity to buy the truck before it went to BaT.

I had to search to find the rules but what I found can be seen here: - CLASSIFIEDS RULES and GUIDELINES

When you create a FOR SALE post on MUD, you have the following choices in the drop down menu (below). I would suggest the "eBAY" label be changed to "Auction" since eBay is not the only game in town. This truck was headed for BaT from the start, it was never really "For Sale" here per-se.

The only post needed here was: "It's live on BaT." with a link to the Auction. Or you could have saved yourself and thrown out a exuberantly optimistic price like $50K. Or even better, you could have consigned her with LCN and I would have done all this for you. (shameless plug) At any rate, sorry the conversation got off track and happy you sold her. I think $35K was a fair price for buyer and seller.
