***SOLD*** :bounce:For TLCA or MUD peps...ONLY $5,000:bounce:

I recently joined TLCA and I'm new to IH8MUD. So I am posting my FJ40 for sale. Please call me if you are interested or have any questions.

I'm starting a company in Honduras and I bought this FJ40 6 months ago to ship it over to HN and recently discovered it's substantially cheaper for me to buy one down there instead of shipping one. I have about $7,900 in her and need to sell quick so I'm starting the asking price at a $1,400 less than what I paid. Asking $6,500 or best offer.

The history as I was told is the FJ was imported about 9 years ago and driven for couple of winters then stored in a garage for around 5 years. Another guy bought it and replaced a multitude of parts due to sitting and not being driven. He drove it for a couple of winters and then I bought it.

The odometer says 26km = 14m and it's likely the odometer has rolled over once, so that would put about 76,000 miles on it. Everything seems to work, except the tach (not sure why). It is bi-fuel, it runs off gas or LP (propane). This is a factory install and from what I can tell the components (including the tank) were all replaced in 1996. There is a selector switch under the dash to switch between to fuels.

The radiator, radiator hoses, fuel lines, water pump, plugs, wires and other various parts are new. It has been converted to electronic ignition. The compression was checked and is good, engine fires right up every time! All new tires, except the spare.

There is some rust as it was imported from New Zealand to Illinois. The rust is the usual spots (behind light brackets, rear doors, etc.). There is only surface rust on the frame from what I can tell. You can tell the rest from the photos I think.

30+ pictures on Flickr FJ40 - FJ40 - a set on Flickr

I'm new to Land Cruisers so I may not have covered everything of importance, so ask if I didn't cover something.

Asking $6,500 and it is located in Keller, TX

PM me for questions or more pictures. Thanks!!!

:)I've stopped by and have checked this out in person, this is one great buy for the money. I already have two and no extra parking spaces or I would already have jumped on this. This comes with austraian trak spoked rims also. The propane set-up looks professionally installed and can easily be removed if not wanted. Plus the owner daniel seems to be a real stand-up guy and answered all my questions. Whoever buys this will be very happy with the overall package. John

TTT for a cool rig

I can't beleive this thing isnt gone

For those following my sale...would it be better if I just remove the propane system (I think that's why people aren't buying cause they maybe think LP is bad?).

I mean for the price I'm selling it for your really getting the LP system for free (it's about a $4,500 upgrade).

Thanks!
