I've been learning that...but what happens here is that when someone goes to sell their cruiser, the first thing they do is paint it. So a lot of what we find for sale has just been painted.
I agree with the general sentiment throughout this thread...if you were to find and help people here import old Cruisers which have not been restored, you will find Mud more welcoming. That type of business model we would support, assisting people in getting unmolested rare SA rigs stateside. Unfortunately what we have seen so far are "restored" rigs which would need to be restored. As others have said, I would rather see what I am getting, warts and all, not find out what is lurking underneath the varnish.
