Great roof rack! Hope your finger is doing better.

Thank you "r083rt" its been a journey packed with all kinds of feelings. Finger doing great now, almost done with physio.

Bought a Chinese locking hub (it was for roughyl 27 USD!!!) to test, as I wasnt sure about the length of my inner shafts, but knowing that someone in the past replaced the front axle in my car, it now has 30 spline, so I was almost certain the short body locking hubs would fit.
Turns out I was wrong, my axle has the longer shafts, and now I know that I need long body locking hubs.
Asco would be great but super rare, Warn are good too but not available locally, I have a friend who supplies AVM and I await to know if they are available. I know I can find used Aisin ones on imported 80's hiluxes....
PG's 45 & my 43's day out.

Updates...43 has been in Baharia Oasis for some time now... at Home :)
Gearbox had devolped a clicking sound in slow rolling speeds and this could only be handled by our Landcruiser doctor, Mohamed Sebeka, and his sons, Ashraf, Ahmed and Samir. The Sebeka family truly know their landcruisers.
Upgrading front brakes to (60 series) ventilated discs. Changing steering box, too much play. New front fenders. New Body and engine mounts.
Servicing diffs. and changing the rear right inner axle (Short one) which apparently had a slight bend causing a minor play in the rear right wheel, drove me nuts for a while to figure out the cause, and ended up driving with it for a few years and doing desert miles and a total of 5000 miles. Now its getting changed.
Photos from The Sebeka workshop in Baharia Oasis, the Oasis of Landcruisers.
The Blue 43 belongs to friend we met on the street by chance. The Dune Beige 60 is the famous Normandie. 2F 4 Speed OME with 600 litre fuel tanks.

Hello,
I wonder if I can get some help.
Could someone please measure the rear drive shaft for off a FJ43 with a H41 transmission please? Incase I cannot sort a stock one locally, I will have to make one :(
I am currently in the process of collecting all that is required to swap my 3 speed with a H41
Gear box/TA, Front drive shaft, bell housing, and gearbox mount and bracket have been sorted thankfully.
What I am missing is the rear driveshaft as my 43 is that medium wheelbase rare one.
I have a rear drive shaft off a 45 which I know will be too long.
Planning to keep the 3 speed/TA with its driveshafts and bell housing unmolested.
