This one had minimum rust, the areas that had rust were the bar across the back floor, which has been replaced, and there was some rust on the drivers floor board, that has been removed and been replaced with 16ga steel. The third spot that had rust is on the hard top its about the size of a dime and has not been touched yet. Upgrades to this 40 include I used a front axel from a 1978 FJ 40 for the [COLOR=blue !important][COLOR=blue !important]disc [COLOR=blue !important]brakes[/COLOR][/COLOR][/COLOR]. I also have the 4 speed transmission and transfer case from a 1978 FJ40. I'm currently driving it with the 3 speed. Recent new parts include brake rotors, brake pads and caliphers. New U joint, starter,fuel pump, [COLOR=blue !important][COLOR=blue !important]air [COLOR=blue !important]filter[/COLOR][/COLOR][/COLOR],plugs,wires,cap,roter,and points. New water pump and new clutch slave cylinder, clutch slave/master cylinder. Also new brake booster plus master cylinder. Custom bumpers front and rear. On the [COLOR=blue !important][COLOR=blue !important]front [COLOR=blue !important]bumper[/COLOR][/COLOR][/COLOR]

it has a brush guard with two KC lights. I have a saganaw power steering kit, that I have not installed. The reason for not installing is because I'm looking for a double grooved pully to run the [COLOR=blue !important][COLOR=blue !important]pump[/COLOR][/COLOR]. I love this 40, its always getting compliments, I drove it to work everyday this summer, but I lost my job and it needs to go, please call if interested.
