Hello fellow Mudders! I dropped my MUD price to $20,000, and am motivated to sell. I know I need more pics of the interior (which looks awesome too!) and will get those up in the next 24 hours.

I am excited, and a bit nervous, to put my 1970 Factory Soft Top for sale. The Ebay listing is a bit high and is more pie-in-the-sky. My MUD price is $22,000 and I am very open to respectable offers.

This has been a labor of love for almost 5 years. What I felt was out of my reach I got some real pros to help, and teach me the whole way. There is a build thread documenting a lot of the process.

So why am I selling? I want to look at some Land Cruisers that I can get my 2 year old twins and my wife into, for fun family trips. The 40 is amazing, but I am a different person now vs. 5 years ago.
  • Mechanically this 1970 FJ40 FST is absolutely top notch. I have a almost-complete list of everything we did using almost all OEM parts. A BIG thanks to Onur (Landcruiser Parts and Consulting) and Kurt at Cruiser Outfitters for all the great business! As you'll see in the list below, it does have a few modifications that are great improvements (e.g. 81-90 large pattern knuckle front disc conversion w/ Aisin 80 series master and booster). Admittedly the shackle reversal is a bit more controversial but was done very well and drives excellent.
  • The body is super, with a primer and painted using an industrial paint so it can be used, not just stored in the garage. We replaced the rear quarters with metal, no bondo work. I did not mount the rear emblems, but they are all new in their original packaging!
  • The Trollhole Factory Soft Top is absolutely amazing, mounted on OEM bows all of which is included. FYI the bows weren't painted, could definitely use it but they are in terrific condition.
OK, enough of my musings, the list is below, and if I think of other stuff I will add. If you're interested and would like more pics, please let me know. I know I need more of the interior, and will get those up in the next couple days.

Thanks for reading all that, and look forward to moving onward!
