A box of spaghetti showed up yesterday. Trying out an Amazon standalone harness..

Is that a harness and ECU or just a harness that works with your stock ECU?

Just a harness. This one is for dbw and a 4l80 but there's dbc and/or 4l60/manual options.

Wow.. those are well priced too! I did not know this was a option.
My buddy Gil used one on his c20 4x4 and recommended it. He said they're not without their faults (his had a few plugs pinned incorrectly) but it worked mint otherwise.

Hoping its easier to deal with than my crusty and greasy stock harness. I paid another buddy $500 to stand alone (and tune the ecu) the one in the 40 so the Amazon ones are cheap by comparison at $256 cdn..

From a perfectly running truck one minute to a non running pile the next... Cool.

Oh and I got a little artsy and crafty last light... after scrubbing/squeegeeing the garage floor to get the ground in floor dry off and shoveling 4" of damn snow.

Glad you found the proper bed, don’t care for that look!

Gross right? That bed is the reason I scrolled right past this truck for 2 months when I was looking..

Removing the stock motor mounts at the frame was fun. There's no captured nuts under there and the only way to get a wrench on any of the nuts is through the lower control arm mount.. hole.. Found the drill some big holes trick on youtube and it worked mint to get a wrench in there. Worked even better when bolting the ls swap mounts in.

Also took the battery tray out as I'm thinking of relocating the battery to the rear under the bed somewhere. Ordered a billet aluminum optima mount from Amazon the other day so I can mess with that when it shows up.
