I have seen this truck in person and it is in pretty good shape other than the rt corner and listed rust places. All very easily fixed and a great project for a mudder who is looking for a 45 as a project. It is getting increasingly harder to find these in any condition let alone one as good as this one. Good luck Rob in your travels on selling this resto-project.

Thanks guys. I'm a little surprised I've still got it... The great thing about that is that if I keep it long enough I'll start to build it for myself. My price will probably go up slowly from here I suspect as I tinker.

Clueless why this hassnt sold? They are getting hard to find. Its priced like a project 40?

I think 47Coeman got it right when he suggested I'm just far enough away from the bulk of the enthusiast herd that it makes it tougher.... 59047-Montana--- Come get it and we'll go fly fishing

If we don't get shut down due to heat or just burst into flames that is.....

Just a bump,
I drove out from Cali and had a great time in route kinda like a mini vacation. When I arrived I was pleased to see a 45 that is in better than run of the mill projects, not much rust. If you have been looking for a 45 project I would strongly suggest this one, you could put it together and drive it for awhile and enjoy while gathering stuff for the rebuild. The pics clearly identify all the areas of concern, no hidden agenda on this one.

That texturing on the headlight bib in the photo above is a product called Stone Guard, not rust. Stone guard is like a variant of rhino liner, it's a NAPA product. This piece was media blasted prior to my texturing and paint.

Yo, Varty.. I'm guessing you know the frame is about the last piece to go if I do end up parting it out, it's just not a practical place to start. I'd love for the whole project to get into good hands of someone who'll appreciate it and build it. I'm going to keep what's left together for the most part for my theoretical build if I get to it before it sells. Maybe you're the guy to pick it up and part it down to the frame you seek?

Another week or few and I slow down for my summer season... the rig gets my attention again, and will go back up on the EBay if I've still got it. I might entertain partial trade options, but thus far the swap offerings have been pretty marginal at best. Stuff that might get my attention for partial trades would include clean fj40's, a low miles toyota mr2 or miata for a 'sporty' econo ride, Sprinter Van, some firearms (arx100 leads that list, sig/HK .223 pistols or 44mag revolver or 45 autos such as px4/sig/hk....) just a thought... cash is king, and price is firm.
