Wanted 1960-1962 FJ40 Rear Axle (1 Viewer)

Looking for the centered rear axle from a 60-62 fj40 (not fj25). I could also use just the front or rear differential from the same. Will pay shipping to Nevada.

Yep. I do have an original set coming off a rust free 1961 FJ40 shortly. I'd like to sell the set together. I had discussed with @Indygbd for his FJ28 pickup, so he has first refusal. I have tie rod, drag link and relay rod as well.

Too bad we couldn’t have grabbed FJ40Jim‘s from his early 45 before they went to the dump. Those center rear diffs are a trademark. Worth tons of money - cuz I have one .

Free for pickup, $150 to wrassle, disassemble, or strap to a pallet and drop off at a shipper. Super valuable riveted rims, poison ivy and backstop plate not included!

I don't visit this group much lately. Not around my old micro-fiche but as I remember the 61 model actually were a one year only brakes including the drums. Never seen a 60 production FJ40. Think I have a technical bulletin showing the VIN the rear diff moved from the center to offset to the right.

Not sure when I'll be back in the Phoenix area but I do have some centered 40 series rear axles there.
