Love

Love the toyos! I also love the ko2s, can’t go wrong with either! I run 37 ko2s on my 80! These toyos measure 34x11 approx, with a little more trimming you could probably get rid of that rub issue, possibly a body mount chop!

I have a little over 20k miles on my 285/55/20 KO2’s with “No” measure able wear. Good wearing tires. Keep the OEM exhaust it’s stainless steel will last forever!

Alright here is my initial review and thoughts:

- instal went fairly smooth, as with a lot of aftermarket builds I’ve done, it was not exactly bolt in..... Not a huge deal, but I believe this kit is mainly designed to fit a tundra, radiator had to be fabbed in, and hoses around crossover pipe had to be rearranged differently than directions laid out. In my book, none of this is a deal breaker, just normal crap you deal with when modifying a vehicle!

- Harrop claims no tuning needed, which has been controversial! Harrop designed this kit to work on newer 5.7s that are not tunable, they do this by modifying the fuel pressure regulator and supplying a high performance fuel pump! With those 2 mods, the theory is the stock tuning will be able to dump enough fuel to compensate for the added air! This is 100% true, I watched all of my parameters and everything looked fantastic on the test drive, no spark knock, no check engine light, timing was advancing when it was supposed to, everything looked great!

- Only negative drivability I noticed was it accelerates so quick on full throttle you will occasionally feel it hit the rev limiter before it has a chance to shift!

- Lastly my thoughts on performance, this thing rips, it is worth every penny, I couldn’t stop smiling the entire test run, and another side note, my wife loves it!

-and a reminder, I am a dealer, and would be more than happy to help anyone with purchase or purchase and install!

where in CO are you?

That’s dangerously close. What is the ballpark price tag for having this done?
Parts, labor, tax, installed as a stage one with no tuning, would run approximately 9500, that gives you about 160hp and 90 ftlbs of torque! From there, certain years can be upgraded to a stage 2, which gives you about 207hp / 136 ftlbs of torque gain! This can be upgraded at any time but would require tuning and probably plan on 2 weeks downtime to give me enough time to dial everything in, stage one can be installed and ready to be picked up in a 2 day turn around!

Those torque and HP numbers sound backwards to me... Can you verify that they're accurate?

Those are the #s harrop claims, I do not own a dyno and honestly don’t have a desire to pay someone to put it on a dyno.... I can say the power increase is huge, it doesn’t feel like the same vehicle, probably one of the fastest suvs I’ve driven!

I totally believe it's a big gain, I'm just surprised to see that you gain more HP than Torque.

Can you post a video of you doing pulls? Love to see and hear that from a 200

I wish I could, but any time I’ve tried to post videos on a thread here it says the file is to big and won’t post, had the same problem when I turbocharged my 80..... I think you have to be a vendor to post videos or maybe I’m just not doing something right?
