Its a copper/nickel mix. i dont know what nickel % is, but we have been using it since thw WW2 so im not to worried about that :)
Its what we scandinavians commonly use for brake lines. We drive in snow, salt and summer conditions, ive never ever experience any problems with the brake lines.

Thanks Havard.

Seems like it is superior to steel too.

Learnt something new.

(I wonder if the local inspection system here would accept seeing copper brake lines in use in this country?)

I just now finish swap to 15B-F in my BJ45 with 3B.
In the beginning i use original gearbox and flywheel from 13BT. All swap is bolt-on exclude oilpan - i cut part near front diff. The starter motor is from BJ original in 12V. Clutch is from 13B-T same like 1HZ.

Use fuel filter form 80 series. Radiator is original, alternator is from 12V some Toyota(i bye from market in second hand).
I make in tank place for back fuel. Make new exhaust system , open in 76mm.
The battery relocated in right-use battery bracket form 24V BJ40.

In first run car go very well, but normal start is from second gear. First gear no need...Also open exhaust system is very noisy-need muffler.

I go back in garage and replace gearbox and ring/pinion.
I take Gearbox 5 speed from BJ70(bell is from original gearbox), Ring and pinion from FJ40 in 37/10 - 3,7(original is 37/9-4,11).
Also i mount front disc brake and genuine power steering and replace rear axle is from hand brake(take from BJ after 1982)
The air filter is not ready( this in photo i use temporary), i ask some filter in min 76mm entry diameter...
Now car run perfect- 110-120km/h no problem!
I start think for turbo....
