Many years ago, Toyota used to sell this filter over the counter. For some reason, if you go to the dealer now they’ll give you a tiny non Japanese filter. About half the size.

This is a proper dual filtration filter that is what should be on the truck. Made in Japan and almost 2 lbs.

It is the size of a wix 51515, but if you do your research you’ll see that many people on the 80 forum don’t trust those filters at all.

This isn’t for everyone based on price or novelty factor, but I’ve sold over 100 of them and nobody has ever been anything but happy!
