Can you assist in finding data pertaining to the filtration performance of these filters, or perhaps post it up yourself? This seems to be a mystery. I’m interested in how well a $30 oil filter does the job before I purchase. Thanks

I plan on doing black stone oil analysis on this upcoming sample. I may cut one of these up to see what gets trapped on my 308,000 mile motor.


For me, I trust these filters as much as I trust as I trust the rest of them oem parts on the truck. Did Toyota put as much thought into these filters as they did the rest of the truck? I think the answer is yes.

Plus, the last few Mobil 1 which should be a top tier filter that I’ve bought...were made in China.
