I owned a 100 for a couple years and asked around to see if there was interest for this but got very few responses so I gave up on the project. I no longer own the 100 so it would be difficult to make the insert. If there was enough interest and I had acess to a local 100 then I could probably get this project going. How about an insert for a 100 series center cup holder (the butterfly brackets are always broken or missing) or maybe an organizer for inside the large center console?
You have to use a spray paint that is specifically designed for plastic. Quite a few of the big Brands now on the market show on the bottle that it will stick to plastic. ABS plastic works well at bonding to paint. Some Plastics like nylon will not accept paint at all. I use ABS plastic for all of my 3D printed parts. How well does spray paint adhere to this type of plastic? This is gonna save me a lot(time and money) and still look stock in my BJ60.
Oh and anybody know what used to be screwed to the sides of my center console (60 series)? Looks like it may have been something to hold the seat belt in place.

Maybe I should look into this project again. It's possible the demand is there now. I need access to a local 100 for a few days.Ive been looking for something like this as well the "butterflies" in ours don't stay at all and cups just tip over.
Eventually I plan to release a rear cup holder, a TEQ grille badge, and possibly a cellphone/gps dash mount. I just can't do any new product development during my current busy season. Once orders slow down in a couple months, I will start the design process up again on a bunch of new products. This is great!!! Not too expensive and serving its purpose.... To hold my coffee. Haha. Just ordered mine. Are you making other types of things for the 60s series?
