I've got a set of 15X7 wheels on the way and am looking now at tire options to run. Would a 12.5" wide tire have issues mounting on the 7" rim? Anyone running that set up?

Hi All:
You can mount a 12.5 inch wide (tread) tire on a 15 X 7 inch wheel, but it will result in the center of the tire tread being "crowned" when the tire is running "street" air pressure (which leads to accelerated wear of the center of the tire tread.)
The "flip" side is running a 12.5 inch wide (tread) tire on such narrow wheels will be the enhanced retention of the tire bead (seat) at low air pressures.
So, good off-road aired-down, but more tread wear on the street/highway.
