Ya can’t make this stuff up…just posted…

Not 100 related, but funny.

I was at a light yesterday next to a cool old Range Rover Classic with a snorkel and on some k02s. In front of us about to turn toward us was a beautiful FJ40.

FJ driver turned and eyed my truck, then gave me a nod and a wave.

The Range Rover waved back.

Bitch, that wasn't for you.

It's the waves from the stock 4Runners that I'm never expecting and too late to return

Spotted this beauty at a Home Depot in Round Rock, TX earlier this week. Looks GREAT up close, don't know the owner but I've seen it driving around the area and done the wave!

I passed one of you local 100 owners on 92 in Paulding county a while back and you waved. I was in my FJC and not the 200 series.

Was it me? I'm out that way somewhat regularly. I think I'd have recognized your FJ though. At least your mustache.

I saw this a while back at a Alpharetta GA (Atlanta suburbs) Lowes parking lot around Nov '21. Wondering who the owner is for this beauty. I will keep the vanity plates in for this one for obvious reasons. Unless the owner says to remove the pics I'll keep them on.

I could be wrong but I think the guy who owns that either is, or is the brother of the owner of a red rhino lined triple locked 80. I've met them a few times at the GA Cruisers dinners.

The GA cruisers dinners are still happening? C'mon man lol. Well let me know I'll come next time.

On our 2,600-mile, 17-night, 9-National Park camping trip we saw a few 100 series (though the highest concentration was on HWY 285 back into Denver in the final hour!!). Saw this one pull into Vista Encantada at the Grand Canyon North Rim:

And then at the Black Canyon visitor center this LC pulled in next to us:

It really became apparent how many 100s are in the Denver area because I see them every time I leave the house here but only saw a handful after we got a few hours a way from Denver! Even the concentration of 4R dropped outside of Colorado!

On my 3400 trip I only saw a handful of 100s on the highway, and 1 at a truck stop. All mall crawlers. I didn’t even see an 80. Kind of disappointing.

Nice talking to you at the gas station! Just as well that you didn't ask for my handle, since I had to create one to reply to this post. (I've been lurking for a while now, but this seems like an opportune time to actually get involved.)

I'll be in the area for another couple months--let me know if there's any good wheeling to be done around here!

Rig pics for confirmation:

There you are! Hey if you want to wheel I know some good locations, I just haven't been able to get out much because I'm taking care of my dad and I don't want to wheel alone and get myself in a pickle. I know a great legit mountain climb with a dope scenic camp spot on top, the only wheel able part of Camden hills.

Glad I convinced you to actually join. 👍

Sweetness! I'm pretty sure I haven't seen that rig in the Austin area, @TXPlates , we must hang out on different sides of the railroad tracks! :)
