"Rain is a good thang" AND new shocks

It's not even in the same ballpark of what I've ever had. These shocks have so much more volume than the Sports that it is not a fair comparison.

That said, if you own a 100 you should come drive my truck.

We can take them both down the same road. I'm sold and that is not just because I spent $750 on shocks and I want someone else to spend their money as well.

The fair comparison would be the regular priced foam v the OME sport.

I personally think spending an extra $50 per corner for this much more shock volume is a no brainer.

If you don't plan on keeping your truck long maybe save that cash get the cheaper ones.

That road is a continual washboard of pavement. I drove it a few weeks ago when I dropped off my trailer for welding and the truck fish tailed on the washboard because it was so rough I tried to just go faster to smooth it out.

Just looked on Iron Man site.

They make gas or foam for all Cruisers.

The Pro's are available for 80's with 4 or 6" lift, 100's or 200's

My pre-sport OME gas work good on my 60 but if I was thinking about replacing them I would try some Foam cell

The 80 Pro ones tho...

I told ya they were the tits. I am glad you like them too. I'd love to take a test drive in your 100 and see how they drive.

Dang, low lift 80 guys get hosed.... :(

Those iron man shocks look great. Looking forward to long term testing and some wheeling feedback.
Run them through the rubicon ridge at Hot Springs!! I bet that would be fun.

On another note, I replaced wheel bearings (inner and outer) along with new OEM front rotors and pads.
I also picked up this spindle grease tool from Slee. http://www.sleeoffroad.com/products/products_grease_tool_detail.html

I have not been checking this spindle bushing/bearing for proper grease and it was dry as can be.
FSM requires NLGI Grade 1; I used this mobil grease (orange color) http://www.mobil.com/USA-English/Lubes/PDS/GLXXENGRSMOMobilgreaseCMSeries.aspx
(CM-W) which is made to resist water in the mining/construction equipment. (probably complete overkill but worth not having to screw with it for a long time)

Also used mobil 1 syn grease (red color) for the bearings and hub pack(NLGI Grade 2)
https://mobiloil.com/en/synthetic-grease/mobil-1-synthetic-grease

The front end is very smooth and quiet now.

No more play in the wheel like I felt before, but there is some play in the 9&3 although not hub related.

This is so small I wonder if it's just part of the normal front wheel tolerance.
what's the opinion here?

This truck won't be on Rubicon Ridge.

I've got about 120 miles of washboard in Big Bend that should be a great test.

They sheer size makes them a no brainer. When it comes to shock size always matters.

Slee tire carrier installed (father's day gift :D )
I guess you need to be in shape to lift these jerry cans in and out. It's not like my ass wasn't tired enough from the WB and brake job this weekend.

I have to say it will be nice to finally have the cans outside the truck as I am always hauling ethanol free for the 40, lawn equipment and the boat. The rear view now may be totally hosed but I will look almost as good as the other posers out there (i.e. Grogan)

Nice. I need that.......
And you need to do a jaunt through the rubicon ridge... don't be a homer with the new shocks.
Help a brother out at 49
