Constantly getting the CEL for 0440. Did the gas cap, checked lines, now onto the vapor canister. Do you know which one is the correct one for an '02? Is there an appreciable difference between these, other than $100?77740-60390 - Vapor Canister - 1998-2002 Toyota Land Cruiser | Boch Toyota South

Well now, I think I will do that! Thanks! Why not buy it from Toyota dealer for $404, which is $143 less than the lowest price from your list?
This is the exact issue I have in my 2005. Strong fuel vapor smell during refueling, but no codes or driveability changes. Did you ever find any resolution? While filling up at the gas station, my 2000 cruiser has pretty intense fuel vapor smell. To the point that I move far away while fueling. It has never thrown codes, no smell while driving, and everything runs normal. Is this charcoal canister related?
Where is this located at? Trying to replace my canister as wellIt looks like its 3 different hoses:

77259-60460
95331-10018
Which would make sense base on how my actually charcoal canister looks like. No two hoses are the same:

Please explain the external vent block offI replaced my entire charcoal canister and valve etc from a 2007 Scion TC at the junkyard. The Scion can was about 1/2" shorter otherwise identical. My can started leaking where I epoxied it together. I still have the external vent blocked off, get a CEL every so often that I just clear for failed purge valve test. My truck doesn't smell like fuel anymore and my fuel tank stays sealed.
