plate

I am working on replacing my power steering hoses. I removed the skid plate, but the steering dampener is in the way. Do I need to take the dampener off to completely remove the plate? Any help?

Looking for the inspection plate on the bottom, back of block, front of transmission (auto) on 1990 fj62. Please see picture of where the plate goes. Thank you in advance. FOUND. NO LONGER NEEDED. Marc

Any thoughts on this? All lights working just fine. Occasionally the right turn signal blinks to fast but thats not the issue. The rear plate lights just went out. Bulbs are good, no corrosion in the sockets, all fuses have continuity ???? Is there a secret spot or fuse im missing for these two...
