I personaly like the ARB more
I'd avoid the TJM, unless they do a better job of powdercoating than they do on the 80 series rear bumpers.

Sahara Bar.......though I think you should get aggressive and make a unique UZJ. Shortening the thing helps a lot. Make one like this. This way you can tackle obstacles us long-johns cannot. My 2nd 100 will follow this idea:

I looked at the TJM T17 pretty hard because I liked the simple looks, but I think it would bend in the same way and hit in the same place, resulting in the same damage. Maybe multipier isn't really the right word, but it sure doesn't look like it gives any more protection than the OEM bumper.
That's why I bought the very cool Slee front bumper instead.

I am in a situation where I will need a new front bumper for the 100 series. I also like the TJM, looks and price, but if it looks like it will be similar in strength to the oem bumper wings than I might reconsider. Maybe somebody with this bumper can post pics of the inside of the bumper and how the wings mount. Christo, maybe you have another product = reinforment struts for the wings???

Tech_dog are you thinking 80 series? The 100 series bumper is one piece with the wings.

My bad. That text applied to the 80 series bumper.
I decided TJM T3Classique over the ARB. Mostly because: It is lighter in weight; winch bolts to the frame via frame plate; I like the looks of it better than either ARB (subjective); can remove the aluminum bull bar hoop if I want; and it was less $$$. OBTW: This bumper is one piece construction...no "wings". IMO the perfect 100 front bumper hasn't been designed yet.

I have seen some pics of a new blade style bumper from slee on an 80 and I think that would be great for the 100 as well. Low profile with a winch mount. Slee it looks awesome. Here is a link to a small pic. Slee, is this bumper coming out for the 100 as well?
