Hi guys,

I'll be moving from Socal to Mesa for work and looking forward to meet you guys and tag along for some TRAL time. Can you guys recommend a shop to get the TJM lift and install? TIA.

You need to come to the local CSC monthly meeting and meet some of the members. The lift you can buy from one of the Mud vendors. I suspect most members installed them themselves. If that is not an option you can contact Camelback Toyota in Phoenix to get the lift installed. The service director there is a local cruiserhead and Camelback Toyota has done some nice work installing lifts, tires etc for some local rigs. Search for "Murf" and send him a PM. They are a great source for OEM parts too. Great service and a healthy discount for CSC/MUD members. Make sure to poke your head up when you get in town.

Contact Tools R us, he installs, and has contacts for purchases.

Or if you are in Flagstaff.......

I would definitely hit up Dave aka MoGas up in Flagstaff. His work is top notch and prices are excellent and worth the drive. He will work with your schedule which is what makes him great to deal with! He is a also a veteran! He lives in downtown Flagstaff so plenty of places close by to grab beer or a bite to eat.

Thanks for all the info guys. Tools R Us is next door so I will hit him up.

I didn't know Tools does automotive repair/ installs out of his shop but he definitely knows his stuff. He has tons of great info about other cruiser mods.

Yea, I have talked to Kevin a few times and never did he mention he does lifts or repairs. I figured it was something he does on the side for his buddies I didn't know he does this kind of work for money. I have also never seen his fees posted anywhere either. We all posts projects we work on here but few if any repair shops on CSC post their work or prices unless it was posted by the customer.

I think Dave aka MoGas is the only one who has given actual costs for repairs and installs because he runs his own shop in Flagstaff "Good Karma Garage".

If ToolsRUs does do work please post up some prices and contact info. I haven't seen anything recent about it, just a few projects he is working on for a few members with no prices.

really, you -the webmaster of membership info- are inquiring about contact info ?

as if it was exceedingly difficult to send a PM or talk to a club member at the meet ? hey, you even talked to me ;p

I don't know that he is doing business as an installer, I just know he does some installations. Or has done some installations. Nothing official. It may well be that he picks and chooses who he does work for, and he may not have a fixed price list. I would suggest if someone were interested, they should contact him. If nothing else, he will have ideas and contacts to share, if you can get him talking. :D

Yea, I know his main business is tool repair etc. but he had never mentioned to me he did installs etc. I had a lengthy conversation about lifts with him a year ago and not once did he say anything about cruiser repairs or that he offered work, but he did tell me everything I needed to do for my lift so +1 on that, but I didn't know he did installs as a job at the shop.

Either way its cool I say advertise cost of service its free here on CSC. We have many members in the valley that need work done including myself :D , If I knew kevin did work I would have contacted him long ago, again I thought the projects he posted were personal projects my buddies and I have done on our cruisers projects repairs but if Kevin is offering professional services post up please!

I need my brakes fixed, LOL!

Kevin performs miracles on vehicles. Better than factory built.

This is kind of what I thought too. I understood that he knows a ton about cruisers and has helped many with their rigs, but I didn't and maybe still don't know exactly what his business is. Tool repair/occasional cruiser repair if he's intrigued enough:D

Inkpot and I have done a few projects, large and small. It's not really a "business" more like Cruiser heads helping out fellow Cruiser heads. So, there isn't a "price list", they are agreed upon depending on scope of work. It pretty simple, if you have a project that you want to talk about, send a PM. At this point, there is no need to advertise, have plenty to do!:hillbilly:

I want to thanks Kevin and John for helping raised up my bottomed baby. Kevin helped pick out the J front and heavy rear suspension for my truck. Top notch service and better price.
