Thanks man. Does anyone have an idea how much a GOOD paint job will cost. There is some VERY minor rust popping up here and there...DAMN salt air. I want the body taken down to bare metal and any fiberglass or bondo replaced with metal. I know I can't get an exact price but I would like to know a ballpark figure amount. THANKS

Paint job

A good paint job , interior and exterior,including bodywork is around 4 or 5 thousand bucks these days. I had quite a few holes that needed filling in and paid 5 grand 5 yrs ago.

My '76......

1) as I bought it (minus hardtop/amby doors), Ford 300 I-6, Toy 4 sp/trans, 31X10.50X15s
2) post SOA/SR with 35X12.50X15s
3) in progress.....350 TBI conv, SM465 conv, Gozzard fiberglass tub, new seats, Metal-tech family cage and noseguard, custom tire/jerry can holder allllllllll in progress. Lots of powdercoating, body prep, paint, custom heater, new wiring harness, etc. I'll post some more when we're done.
