Please help! Engine dies after shifting from park!

For anyone looking up this thread, I had very similar problems with my truck, in that it would die when i would come to a stop. In my case it was a coil pack that had gone out. I was fearing the worst, but it was a pretty easy fix.

Can't seem to find a part anywhere online

I'm sure there was at one point, but its long gone now. I'd prefer to not splice in something, as it will be exposed to road salt, and I'm not terribly confident in my soldering skills.

Can't seem to find a part anywhere online

I'm looking for the wiring harness for my hitch. The part number is 82824-34030, but aside from an old hit on eBay, I can't seem to find it. Any ideas? Here's a picture.

Need options for hitch wiring - Mine got removed by a rock

The part number is 82824-34030, but i can't seem to find one through my normal channels. I did find one on ebay, but I would prefer to buy new if possible. It looks like this: Any ideas on where i can find one?

Need options for hitch wiring - Mine got removed by a rock

I have the factory 7 pin connector. I have an adapter if i only need 4 pin. It mounted to the driver's side of the hitch

Need options for hitch wiring - Mine got removed by a rock

So i was out exploring a forest road by my in-laws cabin that i've done a few dozen times before. This time was particularly muddy due to recent rains and there were a nice coating of leaves obscuring obstacles. In any regard, at some point I clipped my hitch wiring plug right off the hitch. the...

Need ideas on where to look for a slow coolant leak

As far as I know its original. I haven't noticed any steam, but if there is some that would account for the mild coolant smell i get sometimes. I've read before about minute cracks in the radiator leaking. I'm using Green coolant. Shop put it in when I had to have my hoses replaced.

Need ideas on where to look for a slow coolant leak

I admittedly do not check the coolant very often. That will be changing however. I haven't see any pooling or anything obvious on top of the engine, but I'll take a closer look this weekend. I did have an issue with wet carpet a month ago or so, but I chalked it up to a bad windshield install...

Need ideas on where to look for a slow coolant leak

I have about 193k on my 2004 LC and am experiencing a slow leak. I checked my over flow the other day and saw it was dry. I then noticed i couldn't see the coolant level in the radiator. I topped it off and everything seems fine, but i'm obviously losing it somewhere. I previously replaced the...

    Just joined the 200k club

I'm right behind you, 192k and counting. I'll likely hit it this year or early next. My suspension squeaks pretty fiercely, but i have new sway bar end links (one actually broke) and bushings all around. Not sure where my sound is coming from.

    Anyone ever installed bigger injectors?

What does Toyota use on the 200 series? Are they still 4-hole? I have to imagine the best way to test their effectiveness is simply to track increases in MPG. While none of us has the ability to fully control the experiment (dyno, exact same grade of fuel, same weather conditions), the amount...

    Is this too much rust?

Looks okay to me, but I live in Wisconsin. I had to replace my front skid and the gas tank skid as they made swiss cheese look structural in comparison. Thankfully my body was very clean. Depending on the price it could be a good find.

    Another Timing belt thread.

The VVT-i engines were used on the 06-07 model years. 98-05 were non-VVT-i

I just did this last week, and love it. Might get a second for my spare key.
