I use it on the upside of freeway mountain passes in Colorado. Keeps it in the power band much better, with fewer up and down shifts.

My leak was apparent at idle, immediately, could not miss! Also horrified myself by draping a microfiber across the fender while leaning in, discharged a bunch of static when I pulled it off.

The unit I ended up with is not a good fit at all, but I used some rope caulk (like a sticky clay) to angle it out and then pack it in. I'm not sure if that's a long term solution and I'll keep an eye on it over this winter for sure. Maybe a bead of silicon caulk once it's been placed correctly...
