    Charcoal Canister - Great Option!

Just want to chime in and say the VC120 has been working just fine for me. A bit of a pain to get one of the clamps around it, but it worked out. No pressurized tank for the past two months!

    Who is running an RTT?

Do you mean adding two more towers? I'm just wondering about having the Yakima locks keyed the same. This is all new to me.

    Who is running an RTT?

Reviving an old thread. Most pics on here show only two cross bars for Yakima 1a mounts. What's the weight rating on that? I thought I read somewhere they're around 600lbs with four gutter mounts. RTT ~ 150 lbs. Me ~ 220 lbs. She ~ 150 lbs. Pack ~ 20lbs. That seems to be getting close. Anyone...

Roofnest/Hard Shell Roof Tent on Stock Roof Rack?

Thanks for all the info everyone. I'm looking at Gamiviti gutter mounts and just want to make sure these aren't going to gouge the paint. My gutter rail had the trim removed when it was repainted. Is there a place to buy these? I was also thinking of just getting some sturdy rubber to put on the...

Roofnest/Hard Shell Roof Tent on Stock Roof Rack?

Thanks fellas. That was the answer I needed. I'll do some searching through the threads, but any quick gutter mount recommendations?

Roofnest/Hard Shell Roof Tent on Stock Roof Rack?

I did some searching but haven't found anything about this. Looking through the gallery, it seems like most people are using aftermarket racks to mount these. Is there a possibility to mount a hard shell tent onto the stock rack? Has anyone done it? My LC was repainted a year ago so I'm not...

    Water leak

@ColinP That is correct. If you happen to break one of those clips, you can pick them up at a larger Napa. PN 665-2849. They are direct replacement. No modification needed. Here are some photos of what I did a couple days ago. To elucidate your steps a little: 1. Be careful not to break the...

    Water leak

I'm looking at this image and see that I only need to remove the louver. That's a nut off the bottom stud, a clip accessed through the inside upper panel, and a slide of the louver down. The issue is there's a gasket around this entire thing. I'm looking for a replacement rubber for that. Or, do...

    Water leak

@joxeale Agreed, which is why I brought it back up. I'm looking at the louvers and not sure what is going to prevent them from leaking again with the exception of siliconing the edges. My leak is coming from the bottom of the louver from the inside.

    Water leak

Reviving this thread to see if anyone had suggestions on possible gasket material. I'm hesitant to use silicone all the way around because it seems like the louver would be much more likely to break next time it's removed if it's 'glued' on to the body. Any generic seals or weatherstripping I...

Spliced Wires on Driver Side Door Control Wiring - Dealer Installed?

I'm aware. Mine is locked up for some reason. It's lower on the to-do list.

Spliced Wires on Driver Side Door Control Wiring - Dealer Installed?

Okay, so normally if I were to turn it twice it would unlock all five doors including the back? I'm thinking there may be more of these jumpers in the other door panels. Hopefully removing them would take care of all of this. Also, when I use the unlock button on the driver's side it only...

Spliced Wires on Driver Side Door Control Wiring - Dealer Installed?

I tried turning the key twice and only the front two remain unlocked. One turn: Front two unlock. Two turns: Same
