Neither of these shops do full engine rebuilds, but I use:
Headworks in East Nashville for cylinder head machine work, and TN Clutch near the fairgrounds for flywheel machining.
I've never needed block machining, so I can't help there.
I just removed an entire pto setup from my 69. Gearbox , shafts, pillow block, shifter, and winch is all in fair shape. Happy to move it to someone in need. Pm me if interested.
I started this week on my new 69 project. Body off, power wash, and chassis paintwork.
It's better that I stay in the garage, as the flood of ups and fedex boxes have my wife in quite the mood. :meh:. 😂
Edit: this has been sold
I was cleaning out my garage last weekend, and found a small roll of this viper tint that I bought a couple years ago. DM me if anyone wants to make a deal.
The sheet is 24x72, and should be enough to do the front 2 windows. I used the other half of the roll for my 98...
Set of (5) 16" splits. They have some bubbling under the paint in a few areas, so they would need refinishing if that bothers you. I got these with intentions of running them, but have decided against it.
They do not have hubcap clips. The tires hold air, don't match, and need replacing of...
Thank you. I'm following up on another lead, but will circle back to you and discuss whatever glass I am missing. Waiting to see if the side panel comes with glass or not.
I need the following parts for my 79 project. Located in Nashville TN but willing to drive a couple hours any direction.
1. One piece hood. No hardware necessary. Preferably minimal rust.
2. Passenger hardtop side with wing window. With glass would be nice but just metal is ok too.

If you are referring to the front shocks, then the gx uses coilover style struts, while the LC uses torsion bars and standalone shocks for dampening only. Definitely won't work.
Maybe the gx would be interchangeable with the 4runner? I ran 5100s on a 2014 4runner and they were great. Adjusted...
I have 40k + on aftermarket coils without fail. That said, I do keep one spare in my tool bag in the back of the truck juuuust in case. For the price, I could keep 20 spares in the back and still come out ahead. Haters gonna hate though. Do what fits your budget and keep on truckin.
Good call. My outer heat shield fell off during the 3 hour drive home on my first 100. Drove It for 30k before an actual leak occurred, then slapped on a Walker 55329. Half the weight, and mostly as quiet as oem.
