Pulsing during slow braking - pads and rotors only 18k miles old

As I posted earlier in this thread, I too had this brake issue over a few years and installed new pads and rotors once a year and it fixes itself for a while then comes back. I also tried PFC 2 piece rotors and still no luck, the vibration came back after a while. I found it odd that a...

Cowl part# help please, for the passenger foot well leak

I would call and talk to the parts desk, previously -60101 was labeled the "cold spec" on the Toyota parts site as stamped on the part. I bought the part after discussing with the guys at Lake City Toyota.

Cowl part# help please, for the passenger foot well leak

55708-60101 is the cold spec part number stamped into the cowl, this is the part that I purchased. On the cowl, the part numbers are stamped and it says 55708-60091/60101 (cold region), pic attached.

    Passenger side mirror wiring question

The plug is keyed and will only go in one way. It should be simple to see once you have both sides together.

    Passenger side mirror wiring question

Here is a pic from a 2013 LC driver's side harness, it only has 4 wires which I assume would be in the same position.

Fitment question: +20 vs 0 offset

The specs on the wheels you mention are the same as the Volk TE37XT. I have not seen any fitments with +20mm offset for the Volks (hard to get) but there are a few here running the 18x9.5 0 offset version. @Propernice looks to be running 295/70R18s with BMC required and there is a set in the...

    Drive Side Mirror Problems

I have/had the same problem with my driver's side mirror on my 2013. I ordered 87966-60J00 as a replacement but unfortunately this contains the wrong harness although it is listed for 2013s. The harness that came with this part number is missing the wires and connector for the camera. The...

Why changing oil timely/frequently is good for your engine

There is no damage to the cylinder walls, the oil passages on the rings clog and it burns more oil as it has no way to get back into the crankcase. Like I mention, no real evidence to back my case, I was just sharing my experience.

Why changing oil timely/frequently is good for your engine

I wanted to share my experience as I see a lot on this topic and feel free to take it with a grain of salt as I have no scientific backing behind it. I bought my 2013 with 48k miles in 2015 and I noticed a lot of oil consumption a few months into ownership and I would refill the oil constantly...

Possible to add drain to oil filter

I use the Motiv tool that @turbo8 posted. It works well and is easy to use, screw into the filter housing then turn the thumbscrew in, no tools necessary. I happened to be doing an oil change today and a friend had asked for a pic of it.

    Parking Brake

I have done this as the stock travel on the parking brake lever is too long for my liking. I did it in reverse order, making sure to tighten the parking brake at the rear wheels and backing them off so that the wheels do not bind when the lever is down. Then adjusted the nut under the cup...

    2013 LC Intuitive P/A Error | TechStream Code C1AED | Repair Manual??

On my 2013 the front left parking sensor went out while driving and the dash indicated the proper position of the bad sensor. It is possible that all three sensors in the rear bumper are bad or unplugged. Replacing the sensor itself is not hard but careful not to crack the outer inserts that...
