Hello, I’ve watched your carb rebuild videos and felt I would be able to rebuild my 1983 fj40 carb. I have it removed and started to disassemble it. Suddenly I realized it’s too intimidating and I have no confidence in spite of your excellent videos. Would you be willing to rebuild my Asian carb?

I have a fj40 2F engine that is in the vehicle and has rust and debris that is the consistency of coffee grounds in the coolant passages. I am using a filter and have used evaporust.I have run the engine and cleaned the filter at least 50 times and I’m still collecting ”coffee grounds” Ive...

I’m going to install OEM AC in my late model fj40. I plan to buy the proper Denso compressor but they come without the two manifolds. Do any of you guys know where I can obtain these? I don’t have a core.

The sector shaft on my fj40 with factory power steering is rusty and leaking. Has anyone used a speedi sleeve for repair? Would it be worth the effort to chuck it up in a lathe and remove just a fraction of the shaft so the sleeve would be flush with the shaft?

No need to worry about the side panels moving as long as you don’t loosen any of the bolts

Can‘t find a compatible cold air duct for factory AC on my 83 fj40. Anyone have any ideas on where to find one or modify a standard one?
