Plan on mounting it to front runner rack with their mount. I assume running cable through back door will be easy enough.
The eco flow river 2 is peaking my interest tho, uninterrupted usage and ability to charge other things sounds nice. I assume it’ll charge via the rear 110 plug.
Isn’t the plug in rear cargo area of the 200 series rated at 100w? I have yet to receive my Starlink but was planning on plugging it in there while in use.
I just love this thread and the work you’ve put into it @gaijin -
Have a recommendation for a 200, stock wheels ko3’s 285 70 R18? I’m running 38 cold and feel pretty confident in my arbitrary choice of inflation.
Yes sir they are 285/70’s. OEM wheel and no spacer. I might add a spacer after cutting, just need to figure out how much I can get off that front inner wheel well.
Don’t have many pics yet but included what I have.
In the RTT it’d be me and one or two kids or my wife and I with the kids in a tent on the ground or perhaps in an attached awning room.
Most of our camping is AR, NM and CO. There will be occasional trips to PNW and FL but those are limited.
I would prefer that route but the consensus is removing the hard tent multiple times a year is a no go. I got 3 kids, they can deal with setup/breakdown every time I move sites I guess.
I probably won’t use the rack for anything other than a Thule box so my main consideration is that install is as easy as possible for the SkycampDLX. I’ll have to remove each use as my garage clearance is low.
