The only item you listed here that I suppose could be an issue is that I wired with 12 gauge. 90% sure anyway.
I wonder how that would make a difference? When the fridge needs to “work hard” for longer than normal, I.e, use ~65 watts for several minutes non stop that is too much for 12 awg
Car battery is virtually brand news I used to have that as a theory but it was recently replaced.

I have a 100w (I think..) solar panel I attach when stationary. So it’s getting maybe 80w? Which should be enough to sustain fridge.
That’s what gets...
I feel for you! It’s so inconvenient ent? Especially if food is ruined!
In my case - vibration is not the causal issue.
Ambient heat (think, warm days in AZ) seems to set the conditions for it to pull more juice than normal al from the battery and it soon goes wonky. If I catch it early, I...
I'm afraid we're one ICECO's victims. They sent us a replacement after I was able to send them screenshots that displayed the irregularities. I'm not sure the replacement is much better.
We did some testing indoors and it passed the test when plugged in. It's when the fridge is in our truck...
Curious if you’ve moved on from making this and/or have an alternative suggestion. I don’t plan to use a hitch for much else than what was pictured above and for the very rare towing small trailer with supplies. Ie. nothing near the 6500 weight limit.
we recently bought the 2 zone iceco fridge.
After it worked inconsistently in the GX 2 instances in a row we were able to get a replacement from them. It took awhile but got it done. Phew.
But that didn't solve the problem. The new one is still inconstant [It won't reliably cool the zones...
We purchased a trasharoo for our 470 but do not have a rear tire to attach it to. I've seen a vehicle or two around town that had this so I figured there must be a way.
Well, now that we have it I'm not quite sure. Best I can come up with is that could use 4 J hooks to attach each strap to the...

curious what your experience is like with the iceco? I have the same as you and it seems to be having issues. The left side cools way cooler than set (6 degrees instead of 34) and the right side won't cool hardly at all (61 set to 34). So far can't find an troubleshooting info to speak of...
this is the one we are going to get:
https://icecofreezer.com/products/63-4qt-vl60-dual-zone-portable-fridge-with-cover
probably should have purchased it already as inflation has pushed the price up a bit :-(. I wanted to wait til closer to install time to purchase.
