I’ve completed the seam sealer application and put down 2k primer; if anyone can share techniques to avoid hard paint lines when blending with the main roof paint I would appreciate it!

Well... so far mostly good. Some overspray from the 2K primer despite what I thought was adequate masking. I ran the tube of seam sealer dry as I rounded the rear corner headed into the driver side gutter! I thought one tube would pretty much do it... I have another being delivered tomorrow...

Morning - Great info all over this site regarding the rain gutter seam sealing job. Question: how "high" does the seal have to be? I will be using the 3M self leveling product; some photos show it level with the side of the gutter?

I found the source of the leak (now that I’m tearing out the rain gutter seam sealant). Grommet that fits around the AC lines going into the cabin - - I ran a bead of good quality silicone around it. No more leak.

Are most/many just deleting the chrome around the roof when doing this job, putting it back or substituting with something else?

I had/have quite a bit of wetness in the passenger floorboard after torrential rains the last few days. Per advice elsewhere on IH8MUD I checked the AC system firewall drain tube and evaporator box which are both not a souce of moisture. I suspect the roof seam(s) based on visual inspection but...
