Sudden loss of power while accelerating

Sadly, not solved. I'm at a loss at this point. 🤷🏼

Sudden loss of power while accelerating

I ended up solving this with a replaced throttle body. Replaced the fuel pump and MAF on my journey. So far, so good. I have about 200 miles on the new part. I will be making a bigger trip (400 miles/2 days) this week.

Sudden loss of power while accelerating

This is the exact same issue I am having, and it is getting worse. Started with just pulling away from a stop. Would only do it once per trip. Now it is starting to do it while I am on the freeway and accelerating to pass. I have no CEL / codes and nothing in the diagnostics in TechStream. It...

Diagnosing EVAP system codes P0442 and P0456

I did eventually find my leak, a split in the hose under the rear of the vehicle, at the top, right at the flare of the mating hardline. Replaced everything with new hoses, no problems since. I do have venting sounds from the cap, especially when I come home from work (work is about 700 feet...

    LX470 HID RETROFIT PROJECTOR BRACKET

Is it worth it for the HB LED? My plans for the HB cavity didn't work out, so I'm either going to do quads with all the parts I have, or go with the LED HB above. Not really keen on spending another 150nif I have the projectors for quads. I could always pull the cutoff out of the projectors and...

    LX470 HID RETROFIT PROJECTOR BRACKET

Not my first retrofit, but would be my first quad setup. Last set I did had a custom harness, so well versed in that too. Easy, just takes FOREVER. I have an idea for the HB location I think will look really nice, just need to see if I can pull it off. I'll be ditching the stock fogs soon, mine...

    LX470 HID RETROFIT PROJECTOR BRACKET

I can appreciate that. I will give it a try and see what happens. I planned on running the inner projectors on a separate switch (probably the factory fog switch), so I could turn them off when not needed. Or maybe I'll save them for a custom fog light setup.

    LX470 HID RETROFIT PROJECTOR BRACKET

@Luke111 Any more info on the quad setup? I went through most of the 42 pages and there is alot of info scattered here and there. Nut and bolt? Using the Mini H1 mounting stud? do you have any details you can point me to? Thanks! I can't wait! bought the brackets quite awhile ago and just now...

    Stuck Oil Filter

I have used a 24" pipe wrench in the past when some moron over tightened the oil filter (me). I tried the screwdriver through the filter trick but no luck that time. I did buy a couple of Lisle oil filter wrenches. I am not positive this is the correct size, but I have 2 for all of the cars I...

Diagnosing EVAP system codes P0442 and P0456

Stuck with the same codes. Shop had it for a week and could not find the issue. Right now I have the two lines going to the engine compartment clamped at the charcoal canister and no more check engine light. I have zero idea what that tells me (still haven't wrapped my head around how the system...

I use 3 wheel locks on the spare tire mount. I also use them on my wheels (cruiser came with them).

New dissent offroad no cut rear bumper!

A few pieces are stainless, but the vast majority is Grade 8 Yellow Zinc Chromate. FWIW, I used Green (penetrating) locktite on everything.

RTH! 05 LX470 AHC to Radflo - Bushing Question

Yes! Suspension feels great! I have only been on one trip with it but both road manners and offroad performance are exactly what I wanted.

    ARB Twin Compressor Install

You need to pull apart the connector and switch the side the purple is on. All the switch is doing is completing the circuit. I know I had to run the black to the ground as well. Page 3 of this thread at Ultimate Yota has more info. ARB Twin Compressor in a Tool Box If you get a "hosting"...
