If the valving is done well on a 2.0 it should work just fine for everything but high speed offroad stuff. Guys run them in 3/4 and 1 ton trucks without issues. It's all in the valving. Maybe we could use someone that would valve these shocks for GX specifically to account for the added weight...

The icon 2" springs will fit in pretty easily and won't need a spring compressor.

2.0" vs 2.5" is the physical shock diameter size.

Well I feel like the GX is just about perfect now. The issue now is that we are expecting a third kiddo and the wife isn't sure that she is going to be able to get three in and out of the rig without a lot of effort. We may have to find something full sized instead.

It's pretty close to plug and play. Just play with the level sensor a little bit. This has been done before, though I forget who did this previously. I want to say it was originally done by someone at SSO but I can't recall.
