Does the drain hose press into a firewall grommet to secure that end? I’m wondering if I could press a tubing elbow into the firewall, then connect some hose to the elbow… Just being a cheapskate!!

Pighead, I returned to the stop solenoid today and it worked sluggishly and intermittently. So, I disassembled the solenoid and cleaned the varnish off every thing with alcohol and q-tips. After reassembly, it works great. Gonna crank the beast up tomorrow to see if this helped. So I don’t...

I pulled it apart, cleaned all the varnish off every part with q-tips and isopropyl alcohol. Reassembled and it works great now. Gonna give the engine a start tomorrow to see if that helps my idle issues.
