Hey Jason, sorry I missed this message. I didn't see your PM. I believe there is rust on the leading edge of the hood. I've never taken the black wrap off, but I assume that's why it was there. Thanks -Rob

The 4L80e has a 0.75 overdrive ratio which isn’t ideal for that setup. Here’s what the calculator kicks out for your configuration. The 4L60e has a higher overdrive at 0.70 which drops the RPM to a better point. A 6L80e drops is even further: -Rob
