    92 FJ80 - Corbeau Seats Installation

Sure glad to help out! While labeled tan, they are really more of a caramel. The spice color is much closer to a lighter tan color from the pics I've seen and is a closer match to the stock leather. My interior was the darker brown (sable) color so my seats actually work pretty well. After...

    For Sale 1992 FJ80 Cloth Seats (Sable/Brown

Hi all, I'm looking to part with my original manual cloth seats and brackets as I recently upgraded. These are out of a 1992. I would say they're in fair condition. Passenger side cushion is in better shape. Driver side has the usual bolstering wear, but I'd say the cover is repairable. These...

    92 FJ80 - Corbeau Seats Installation

Honestly the bottom cushion feels pretty darn close to same basic position as the stock seats. Maybe a teeny bit higher? On second look at my pic it may just be the bolstering that sits a little proud. But the Corbeau's bottoms seem a teeny bit larger. By far the biggest difference is the back...

    92 FJ80 - Corbeau Seats Installation

Hi all just wanted to jot my thoughts down after installing my Corbeau Moab seats into my 92 FJ80. FWIW my rig originally had the cloth manual seats and I'm looking to get rid of both. #1 The Brackets they provided are not quite 100% drop in fit and needed some encouragement with a pry bar on...

92 FJ80 Crank, No Start or Spark, .4v at B+ (Solved, just giving credit)

Hi all, been a while since I've posted anything, so I figured I'd post my troubleshooting process for what turned out to be a bad EFI Relay for posterity's sake. Maybe this'll help someone in the future. Patient: 1992 FJ80 3FE Location: Literally died in my buddy's driveway, who also happens...

    Brake Lines - hard lines

I'll remember that for next time. My father was a little wary when I told him about the copper stuff so we opted for OEM.

    Brake Lines - hard lines

I managed to get most of mine from Spector Offroad a few years ago. I even found the really long one that mounts along the framerail along the driver side. Looked like it was pulled from a southern (or desert) vehicle. No rust to speak of. Super happy. I have been curious about the durability...

Can you still purchase an OEM charcoal canister (Denso Vapor Canister)?

I also used the AC DELCO GM canister. It's snug but it'll fit with minimal fuss. I used a few beefy zipties and it's been great ever since.

    Rotella Oil

I've been running Rotella T4 for a few years now in my 92. Oil leaks have been less and I'm sold on the zinc helping overall. Although I've heard that the zinc also destroys the cats over time. (pretty sure mine are shot anyways) Luckily my county in PA doesn't check emissions so it's a...

Hi all, been a while since I've been able to post anything. I'm in the middle of refreshing my rear axle and need help Identifying a part. The part in question is highlighted in the circle, this is a shot of the rear drum mounting plate. I ask this because one of the teeth is sheared from the...
