Unless the parts cannon is loaded with an engine control harness, the parts canon is useless. There are supposed to be 2 clips on the fuel rail holding the wiring harness. One is gone completely (including the bracket), the other one is held on with a zip tie. That's why the harness was hanging...

That sounds right. It was lying lower and the air injection tube melted into the harness. Waiting for gaskets to arrive in the mail, will report back when I get in there to fix it. I'll try to find the melted wire, replace the heat shield sections on that part of the harness, and cover in new tape.

I put it in the 3rd driver side freeze plug hole. It's still under the exhaust manifold, so hammering out the plug with the manifold on would be very hard because you can't get a punch straight in front of it. I'm sure someone here has done it without removing all that stuff.
