Are you parking on an uphill slope? Mine did this when I first got it - it needed a gas cap. Never had an issue since.

I just bolted some brackets together from 1/4” slotted steel from the same HW store. I need to make up some proper brackets. The other issue is the eBrake. I have an $30 Amazon actuator I think will work, but again I haven’t made a bracket for it yet.

Took the 62 out for coffee and a supplies run. Discovered the T100 bench seat is inconvenient for 8’ lumber EDIT: Sunday we had to get some 16’ material:

Hey, I’ve done some searching, but I haven’t seen anyone relocate or electrify the eBrake on an FJ60 or 62. I picked up a little 50mm 12v actuator on Amazon, but mounting it is proving to be a bear. Wife and I love the T100 bench seat, but a manual + no eBrake is not ideal! Any ideas...

What you’ve pictured appears to be an accessory fuse, not a fusible link. Although not 60 series specific, this thread gives some good info on them. https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/bj42-fusible-link-replacements.857466/

I bet your glow plug system is similar to the one on my 12v truck. There’s a high voltage (12 volts) that is active for the first few seconds to help the motor start and a low side (6 volts) that keeps the plugs warm, but won’t melt them. I bet the high side was active when your starter...
