    2018 200 series vs GX550

I was in a similar position. Decided not to wait for the GX and landed a 2020 LC200. I never had CarPlay in any previous vehicle, so I don’t miss it.

    Chains for our trucks 285/50R20

Thanks @MikeVpdx503! I have a sticky note here with your handle writ on it next to the 583 chains, from when I was reading through the forums for chains a few weeks back. I’m in the same boat that I want them for emergency use. Coming from a Subie with X-ice tires, the thing was bomb-proof on...

    Chains for our trucks 285/50R20

Have searched the forums and haven’t necessarily found an answer to my intrusive thoughts, er technical questions, about tire chains and my specific configuration. This seems to be the more recent 200-series tire chain thread which I could find. I currently have LT285/70R17 KO2’s for summer...

What have you done to your 200 Series this week?

Few weeks back, just getting to posting it up. New wheels and tires. Method 703’s with +35mm offset. Buddy of mine offloaded his Wrangler take-off 285/70R17 KO2’s which had ~5k miles on them already. Little rubbing on plastic bits I still have to massage out of the way. Stock everything else.

    Alignment advice: Factory 10mm spacer, +25mm 285/70r17

Can’t comment on the right alignment settings, but would pile on with the congrats on the new ride. I recently bought mine and replaced the stock wheels with method 703’s with +35mm offset. Can say I expect rubbing at the rear mudflaps under articulation and I’m already rubbing _in reverse_at...

Which TPMS for 2019 Land Cruiser?

They were whatever DT installed when mounting new wheels/tires. Tbh, I’m not even sure they’re broadcasting the right frequency. That might be where I need to start. They paired the sensors and I hit the Tpms button, the light blinked 3 times, and then I drove away. I thought better of it...

Which TPMS for 2019 Land Cruiser?

Regarding new TPMS sensors and the re-learning process, once new sensors are registered with any TPMS tool, how long do these realistically take to pair with a 200-series LC? Have had new wheels with new sensors paired but the PSI never shows up after hitting the re-learn switch, just the...

    Method 703’s

Anyone running 17” Method 703’s with a 35mm offset on a LC? Care to share some pictures? I’ve got a set on order to put some 285/70r17 KO2’s on. Which TPMS did you end up going with? I’m fine hitting Discount Tire to reprogram, they’re 2 minutes from me, though I might buy a TPMS tool at...

New member intro & pimp my tires!

Decided to order some Method 703’s with a 35mm offset in 17”x8.5. I’ve got a friend with Wrangler take-off KO2’s in size 285/70R17 that he only put 5k miles on before upsizing. He’s said he’ll give them to me, and I realize they’re only 2ply, but for the light wheeling I’ve got in the plans...

Nice! You have to trim anything to get them to not rub with or without the spacers? Are you running the 1.25" Spidertrax or something else?

YASSSS! That was my other thought for the winters. Which Blizzaks do you run? DMV2's look to be backordered. I was doing the winter-tire thing with the car I just got rid of, so that's not new to me, would give me a reason to order another set of wheels; have to get rid of all the spare wheels...

Damn these are two beautiful trucks. I'm a bit set on the Wildpeaks, simply for the good reviews I've seen for wet & winter performance, and here in the PNW we get the rain, which I have heard mixed reviews about the KO2's handling that well. Only downside I can see, and what might drive me back...

Greetings! Earlier this month our family joined the 200-series owner club with a new-to-us 2020 Brilliant Pearl White 200-series. Dealer certified with 40k miles on it, we paid what they went for new. This truck just checked all the boxes for us - tech where needed, low-tech where it's not, the...
