Hello everyone! Long time lurker, first time poster. I just finished installing the 10mm/1” factory suspension spacer and have 285/70r17’s waiting to go on a set of Icon +25mm wheels tomorrow.

I’m going to the dealer to have the mount, balance, and alignment done. I have mixed feelings about this. I was hoping some of you guys could help me out:
  1. I’d obviously like to avoid rubbing, so I’ve preemptively removed the two small front mud flaps from each side.
  2. While installing the spacers, I also leveled the KDSS.
  3. With this lift/tire combo, I think my biggest risk now is rubbing the KDSS, but I’m not 100% since some report no issues.
  4. Is there anything specific or target specs I should advise the tech of to help get this right the first time?
  5. With the larger tire + the suspension spacer, are there any other calibrations that need to be done? I’ve seen mentioned: VGSR, Yaw, TSS, headlights. I don’t think so given the mild increase, but since I’m going to the dealer might as well plan ahead.
Anything else I might not be considering?

Appreciate the advice!

This was the first day I bought it, complete with paper tags. The Jeeps that pulled me out of this said I look like I got lost on my way to Target. Never again 🤣

Nice rig! Congrats on the new 200. You won’t be near the KDSS with a Lt285/70r17 which is just under 33”. Anything under a 34” tire will clear the KDSS without much effort with 25mm offset wheels. That 25 mm offset will more than likely result in some rubbing on the plastic such as the fender liner and mud flaps.

i like to duplicate these alignment numbers.

Awesome, thanks! Yeah I thought I’d read somewhere about people adjusting their alignments to better center the tire in the well and limit scrubbing.

Be prepared to have some rubbing with the 25mm offset wheels. The tried and true offset is between 45mm-50mm to clear everything with a 33" tire. The lower offset of 25mm will typically result is some plastic rubbing as you turn right and left.

Done! I did have a little rubbing but sorted it out through moving the fender liner forward as well as heat gunning a couple of spots. No rubbing at all now that I can tell, even in full lock backing down my driveway. Have not wheeled it yet, but maybe next weekend.

I’ve noticed that my truck is pulling right, particularly under acceleration. These are my alignment specs, I’m thinking to correct the pull, I’m thinking they should drop the caster on the left by ~0.4 to create a cross-caster situation. Am I thinking about this correctly or should I be looking at the camber?

Can’t comment on the right alignment settings, but would pile on with the congrats on the new ride.

I recently bought mine and replaced the stock wheels with method 703’s with +35mm offset. Can say I expect rubbing at the rear mudflaps under articulation and I’m already rubbing _in reverse_at steering lock_in one direction.

I’m going to grab a heat gun this week and fix those problem areas. I’m running KO2’s that are 285/70r17, fwiw.
