Im using the plastic OEM. Im more concerned with getting the filter drain plug out of it. The plastic one has a bunch of the notches on the outside ripped apart at this point.

I bought a knockoff on Amazon, and was leaking oil within 20 minutes. Literally a puddle. So unless I drop the coin for an actual toyota one, I wont make that mistake again.

Any tips, tricks or advice on getting the drain plug outa the housing? Shes snug. Tried using a set of pliers-style oil filter grips to hold onto it, but just wasnt happening.

Can I get a part number for wheel studs for a 2018 Land cruiser?

Such will be the plan. Clearly I'm still on a learning curve with all of this, so its been a mess step by step. But im learning, so thats a win.

So dont use the little drain plug thing that comes with the toyota oil filter? I thought the point was to drain oil before removing the filter?

Anyone have any tips on removing the drain plug, on the plastic housing? Tried a cheaper aluminum cap, leaking in 20 minutes, went back to the stock housing for now. But I know the drain plug is going to fight me in the future. Thought about spraying some Kroil on it, but that seems like a last...

Looking to swap my plastic oil filter housing for the venza one....how does one get the center support itself out? Ive bounced around a bit looking, but am not real clear on what im to be bending or moving to get the short one out and LC one back in. TIA

Running the Trail Tailor on my '18 and have had absolutely no problems.

Changed oil, filter, air filter, wiper blade inserts, 5 tire rotation. Little wiping down the interior and whatnot before packing it up for Moab.

Leaving Jersey the 10th, 12ish hour days to Grand Junction and then we party.

Does someone have a picture of the stock wiper blades on the 200 series? I've got a 2018, and am in a toss up on if I should buy the rubber inserts for the OEM blade, or whole new blades. Really, I cant remember what I did last time, and dont want to buy the rubber if im sitting on aftermarket...

Managed to pull this off. Fun to be had.
