Good point, I didn’t even think about the gear ratios. It’s terrible that finding a transmission is so difficult for the 200 series while tundra transmissions are everywhere

I’m taking it into the shop Tuesday. I’ll update when I hear back more. My mechanic thinks it’s not building enough line pressure. If it’s a transmission pump issue, the trans has to come out. Hopefully that’s not the case. He said if it was the output speed sensor, I wouldn’t have any gears.

Right that’s what I thought too. But this one vin decoded as a VX and it says VX on the back of it. I know that we only got the 1 trim (base) in the states. So unless this LC is an oddball I’m not sure what it is. Toyota’s website can’t vin decode it.
