    Anyone using X2 Power batteries?

A quick follow up. Took both batts to a battery shop and had them load tested. The Optima was shot and the X2Power battery tested like new and it will be installed in the secondary position in a dual battery set up.

    Anyone using X2 Power batteries?

Just picked up a group 78 X2Power from a recently deceased friend's garage that he marked as bought in 2015 and never used. put a meter on it and it registered 12.4V which surprised me as an Optima Red Top, also unused from about the same purchase date showed 11.6V. Running them both on chargers...

New (old) High ZDDP (zinc) Oil Castrol

The Mobil 15w50 label states that it is a high zinc content oil and I think the # is similar to the Castrol. Turns out the Mobil 1 is 1300ppm. Their 20w50 Racing is even higher at 1800ppm.

3FE Fuel Pressure Regulator Operating Specs

3FE list - good times and good memories. Back then, an FPR replacement was not only easy and cheap it usually had positive results. So cheap, in fact, that testing was time spent wrenching when you could have been drinking high brow beer. These days an OEM FPR is something like $150 or more, so...

    Part Identification

Guidance from around the world. Awesomeness! I think you guys have figured it out for me and it is much appreciated. Now if you could all come over and get me through reinstalling the windshield wipers and the window regulators/door handle mechanisms it would be perfect. As it is, the project...

    Part Identification

The lip around the top and the scuffed paint make it appear, to me, that something sits on top of the piece. I checked the area underneath the coolant/windshield washer tanks but nothing lines up there.

    Part Identification

After five years of taking the 40 apart, I've been putting it back together after having it painted. One part that hasn't been self explanatory is evading installation and I don't have documentation of it. Pretty sure it's from the engine bay - #2 Phillips for sizing. Thanks for the help! Here...

    Dogs and 60's (pics)

These are OEM and came from a truck brought in from Saudi Arabia, or so the story went, in 2004. Most of them came from OZ but that market has pretty well dried up, I think.

    Dogs and 60's (pics)

I could do this all day but I'll stop for now. Both Nell and Pearl loved the 62 and are sorely missed. Our current Golden came from the Golden Retriever Rescue of the Rockies - GRRR - and is intimidated by the 62 but really likes her throne in the back of the 100.

Nellie, the A personality of the duo, often made her little sister Pearl pay a price getting back into the truck. Pearl loved the game.

    Builds Meet Phoenix aka Zombie

Mind-boggling effort you are putting into the old beast and so worth it! For yourself and the rest of us as well. Watching the video of the original startup was thrilling. When you finish the project, it will be interesting to see which of the 60 series you spend the greater amount of time...

How to connect a trailer brake controller to a (late?) 100 series TLC

Adding my 2 cents here. Just installed a Tekonsha (Prodigy) Primus IQ to my '03 and it was a breeze. Finding the factory connector was really easy after removing the lower dash panel and knee brace. That takes about five minutes and you don't have to get down on your back and feel around in the...
