Re. lug nuts - steel wheels typically use the "acorn-style" lug nuts, which differ from lug nuts designed for alloy wheels. I have a feeling OEM Toyota part 90942-A1003 is what you're looking for - maybe someone else can verify. Here in the US they're around $2 a piece.
I built this sleeping platform for my 100 Series, which I've since sold. Here's a link to an Instagram Highlight on the design and build process: LC Platform - @mountainwestcarspotter - https://www.instagram.com/stories/highlights/18137730574076215/
Not really something that can be shipped, so...
I swapped a different OEM grille design over to my 2008 Land Cruiser, so I no longer have a use for the US-spec OEM grille. This is just part # 53101-60481, which includes the emblem. It does not include the rubber molding that goes along the top, or the clips that attach the rubber molding to...
Oh god. In that case... nevermind. I was excited there for a minute
Your disagreement will no longer be necessary :) Given this additional information, I can't imagine anyone would think this is a good buy, myself included, even if it could be had for an otherwise fair price. When something...
Hey all - I do freelance work for Autotrader and I'm in the process of writing up this semi-unicorn of a 200 Series that's currently for sale. It's an Amazon Green 2008 that doesn't have the upgrade package (so no cooler box, no DVD player), but still has Nav and the rear spoiler (they were...
This is the OEM 18-in spare that was underneath my 2008 Land Cruiser when I bought it. This is the design that was used on the 2008-2011 Land Cruiser, but it'll fit any 100 or 200. I replaced it with a matching spare that goes with my wheels so I have no use for it. Based on the sticker, it...
Yes this is ridiculously cool unobtainium.
Yes it's likely a legitimate listing for a vehicle that's on US soil.
Yes you could hand the owner $48,000 for it and they'd hand you the keys, and probably even a legitimate title.
Yes you might be able to slip it past a DMV employee and register it in...
I think this is a very cool project and I'll be following along. A lot of LC enthusiasts start foaming at the mouth at the thought of upgraded bumpers and stuff, but that all comes with drawbacks too like added complexity, extra weight, worse fuel-economy, and added cost. There's something to...
Thanks for the tip - I am aware, but based on this post in the classifieds, it appears that the less common 18-hole type that I'm using works with the same 20-degree TPMS sensors used in the alloy wheels. The seller there kind of fumbles his nomenclature, but looking at the photo of what he's...
I'm currently setting up a set of 18-hole Tundra steelies (picture attached) for use on my 2008. Can anyone point me toward an Amazon listing for the specific lug nuts I'll need? Seems like Gorilla-brand is a safe bet? I know they need to be acorn-style, but I'm having trouble determining the...
