What is the largest tire I can fit with no lift?

I would argue you'd save much on 16s tires. AT tires (like BFG as the de facto standard for WE warriors) cost around $300 a piece nowadays. I take it, you'll need a new set of wheels to replace stock 18s (not sure if LX2006 had 18s in stock). So I don't see how to save here. LC/LX is not about...

What is the largest tire I can fit with no lift?

I think 16s should perform better offroading due to the higher wall, and 18s on the highway (due to the lower wall). People say 16s catch rocks easier between the wheel and cover on the inner side. As for gas, you already have a guzzler, don't worry too much if it drops one mile per gallon...

What is the largest tire I can fit with no lift?

I see 275/70/18 as a perfect choice on stock LX for DD and occasional Moab rocks. No rubbing at all when jumping over gravel and dirty roads (N mode AHC).

How to get peak AC performance from your 2003+ 100 series

Please note there is GB rocker in the picks, it did not work for me. Ended up with Doorman at the last pic. UPD: Forgot about female 16-14 awg terminals like this: You'll need 5 of them (2 fan, 3 switch)

How to get peak AC performance from your 2003+ 100 series

All parts can be sourced at your local Oreily and/or Home Depot. I am in the middle of assembling it all together. Finished with the wiring and rocker yesterday. Someday will get to the fan itself if am not too lazy :) Attaching rocker, ring terminals, pigtail (10 amp fuse included), wires (I...

How to get peak AC performance from your 2003+ 100 series

I once had an AC line rusted out. Any shop can diagnose if the system holds pressure. So refrigerant was entirely out. Replaced the line and it's biting cold for 3 years already.

    100 series alternator trouble?

Hi! In my case replacing the alt helped. 45K miles since then. Did it at Toyota (turned out to be the best price for parts and labor here in Utah LHM and they even gave me a substitute car, love them). They install Denso AFAIK. Something like $700 altogether. In your case, I would go to the...

    06 LX470 TPMS fix

Mine went bad 2 or 3 at once on 15 yo LX. Replaced a year ago at my local Costco. The tech could not set up them properly the first time so I just stopped by again in a couple of days. Since then all is ok. Cost me around $270 for all 5 with balancing, rotating, etc. while I wash shopping.

Stalling not just in High, Hot, & Heavy

Thanks! I really appreciate how passionate you're about answering questions. Sorry for being misleading. It's a 2007 LX470 Stock 146k miles on board. Added to signature as well. So, as you suggested I dropped the skid plate and washed the radiator as best as I could paying attention to the...

Stalling not just in High, Hot, & Heavy

ok. So I will kick this can again. Today I had a trip to the same place I used to stall. I call it a "vortex place" since there my truck dies. Ok, to be fair it had stalled a couple of other places too. But I can bet a hundred it would stall there. And the truck is always good in other places :)...
