SOLD  Houston, TX: LC100 Tesla Style screen with climate control

I’m selling my LC100 Tesla Style screen with climate control. I just hooked it up today to see the screen turn on, and turned on the a/c. You’ll have to be tech-savy and/or read the threads here to tweak things (audio, rear camera, etc.) based on your model year. This is the 4 + 32G ZhiFang...

LC & LX470 Tesla Style Screen Radio Upgrade with Climate Control: General Discussions

Personally, I would not buy it for the 99 since people have not been successful (that I am aware of) in getting the HVAC to work.

When you are on a flat ground, press and hold on the white car until it resets to flat (baseline).

LC & LX470 Tesla Style Screen Radio Upgrade with Climate Control: General Discussions

The Land Cruiser uses JBL radio/amp, and the LX uses Mark Levinson amp. That might be why the provided audio wires/pins don’t match up for me. If you’re ordering for the LC, just be aware of this.

LC & LX470 Tesla Style Screen Radio Upgrade with Climate Control: General Discussions

I have both the PX3 and PX6 (from Rhino). With the PX6 install, it appears (2006 LC) that I still have no audio and the passenger airbag light is still not coming on. I'm wondering if the wiring is slightly different with the LX? The wiring/cables are identical on the PX3 vs PX6. This isn't...

LC & LX470 Tesla Style Screen Radio Upgrade with Climate Control: General Discussions

It looks like you have the air conditioning working because I see blue highlight on the bottom with 16.0C. Try just pushing the + or - on the screen since it resets to <blank> when it's been a while since you started/rebooted.

Those red wires/connection from the board is something that I didn’t have to do. Your harness from the decoder looks different from mine. You would need to take more detailed picture your harness (from decoder) for me to confirm.

LC & LX470 Tesla Style Screen Radio Upgrade with Climate Control: General Discussions

Yes the air conditioning works. People are having issues with the 1998-2002 non-nav air conditioning, so I can only speak for the 2006 (my year). What is your year? The 2001-2002 nav with a/c top buttons are different from the 2003-2007. I’m not sure if the 2003 nav is slightly different...

"Tesla Style" found for older LX470/LC100

If everything works out for the 2006, I’m going to buy the 1998-2002 non-nav Tesla 12.1 from them for my 1998 LC. I’ll probably take a picture of the connectors first, so they can confirm the cables.

"Tesla Style" found for older LX470/LC100

I’m working with the “engineer” from China where I bought mine. He wants me to take a detailed picture of each OEM connectors (wires/pins) and OEM hardware connections (nav screen , radio, airbag, antenna, center diff lock, and A/C). I wonder if the seller will do the same for you to get the...

"Tesla Style" found for older LX470/LC100

Sorry I meant how did you get the A/C (HVAC) to work. I’m thinking about getting a Tesla 12.1 for the 1998 LC, but had concerns about the HVAC not working.

You got the AC to work? What components did you transplant?
